Ulta Beauty: Makeup & Skincare maintained a strong user base with weekly active users fluctuating around the 600K to 700K mark throughout the quarter, peaking at over 700K in late December. Downloads showed an uptick as the holiday season approached, starting at around 54K and reaching over 100K in the final week of December.
Sephora US: Makeup & Skincare also experienced a rise in downloads during Q4, starting at about 32K and peaking at nearly 59K in late November. The app's weekly active users saw a high of 609K in mid-November before stabilizing around the mid-500K range towards the year's end.
IPSY: Personalized Beauty showed a steady number of weekly active users, starting at approximately 385K and climbing to around 393K by the end of December. Download figures for the app had a slight increase from 22K in late September to nearly 24K by the end of the year.
SALLY BEAUTY had more modest numbers, with downloads hovering around the 10K to 14K range throughout the quarter. The weekly active users for the app remained relatively stable, ranging from approximately 22K to 25K.
Scentbird Perfume Box saw the least amount of downloads among the top 5, with numbers starting at around 7K and reaching up to 8K in November. The app's active user base remained consistent, with a slight increase from 23K to 22K over the quarter.
